ABOUT
Glitch Gum (GG) is a hyperpop artist and producer based out of Nashville, Tennessee. Combining glitchy instruments and high-pitched, autotuned vocals with pop sensibility and punk aesthetics, GG hopes to crank out fun, energetic tracks for the left-field.
Glitch Gum draws influences from many different places. His biggest influences are 100 Gecs and Blink-182. However, he also draws from more subtle influences such as Playboi Carti, American Football, Food House, Glaive, and Phoebe Bridgers. GG likes to consider this combination of various influence as something that sets him apart from his peers. He hopes to funnel these influences into a unique mixture that shows versatility as well as bring energy and fun to any setting.
Glitch Gum’s recent successes include a feature on CMTEN’s viral hit “NEVER MET!”, a successful solo single “Do U Think Abt Me??”, and a cover of Phoebe Bridger’s “Kyoto” that even caught the attention of Phoebe and her camp. GG has also been lucky enough to be placed on the “Hyperpop”, “Misfits 2.0” and “Internet People” playlist on Spotify, as well as the “Glitch” playlist on Apple Music, among others.
